Some of the bands are swing bands. Do they play only swings?
Despite the reference to "Swing" in a band's name, they are all skilled musicians who do play a variety of music. We specifically ask them to play a mix of ballroom, swing and Latin dances when we contract with them. We work with the bands to develop a play list that includes each type of ballroom dance throughout the evening. They work hard to give us danceable tempos as well, some fast, some slow and all just right!
